The NEW FARR 740 combines the comfort and the space of a family yacht with the performance of a sporty cruiser.
During the development of this newest FARR 740, the designer utilised the same high quality design aspects that had already been utilised in the production of the other highly successful models.
The hull and deck are of a hydrolysis proof polyester, built using the sandwich construction method. The hull is built using the hand lay up method, wich gives optimal control over this process. The hull and deck are laminated while still in the mould to create an extremely strong and homogeneous structure.
The NEW FARR 740 has a 7/8 rigg.
All sheets and halyards are adjustable from the cockpit.
The owner has a choice between a Cruising or a Racing
version.
Both can be furnished with standard keel or with centerboard, for easy transportation or sailing into the shallow water.
